Our next Book Club for Racial Justice (Haverford) meeting will be at 7:30pm on Monday, April 26th on Zoom. For those who have attended frequently in the past, please note that this is a time change from our regular start time.
This month, there will be a "choice" option focused on race and the educational system. Attendees can pick between one of the following three books:
Why Are All the Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafeteria? And Other Conversations about Race (Beverly Daniel Tatum)
Black Lives Matter at School (Denisha Jones and Jesse Hagopian)
We Want to Do More than Survive: Abolitionist Teaching and the Pursuit of Educational Freedom (Bettina Love)
Here is the public Facebook event link. As always, feel free to share with friends or family members who might be interested in joining us! I'll send the zoom link the weekend before our event.
