Haverford Township School Board

The School District of Haverford Township is governed by a nine-member school board. The board’s primary role is adopting and maintaining compliant board policies for the organization and operation of the school district. The board has the authority to establish, equip, furnish, operate, and maintain schools as required for the education of every student. Generally, the board oversees the educational programs, personnel, and properties, with specific responsibilities to determine curriculum, employ a superintendent, and approve a budget.
